RCNJ Dinner Honoring Howard Isermann '42 at Montclair Golf Club on June 17
The Rensselaer Club of New Jersey and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute are pleased to announce that a dinner honoring Howard P. Isermann '42 will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2004, 6:00 pm at the Montclair Golf Club in West Orange. Howard is a member of the RCNJ of long standing and was recently inducted into the Rensselaer Alumni Hall of Fame. All RPI alumni and friends are invited.
Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, President of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will be the keynote speaker.
Howard Isermann developed the ultraviolet absorber that became the most effective and leading sunscreen in the world. He founded Novarome Incorporated in 1980, a manufacturer of fragrance compounds used in a wide variety of consumer products. In 1989, Rensselaer named the Chemical Engineering department in his honor. Howard received the Distinguished Service Award from the Rensselaer Alumni Association in 1994.

Interstate 80 East to Interstate 280 East to Exit 8B (Prospect Avenue, Cedar Grove). Pass through four traffic lights. Between the second and third traffic lights, you will pass a shopping center on the left side of the road. After the fourth traffic light, a large restauarant called the Manor will be seen on the left side of the road. Shortly thereafter on the left is the entrance to Montclair Golf Club.
From the East (including NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway)
Take Interstate 280 West to Exit 8B. Follow the instructions listed above, beginning with "Pass through four traffic lights."
