Sandeep Nandy wrote, "The RCNJ sponsored a trip to the Trenton Thunder game on July 18, 2004. The Thunder, the double A affiliate of the New York Yankees, hosted the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox affiliate)."

"The poor weather definitely kept the attendance down, as the game was played during a noreaster storm and heavy rain. It was surprising that once the game started, there were no weather delays."

"The small RCNJ group which attended the game included Joe Pilaro '55, Henry Rosenblatt '54 and his wife, John Cloninger '96 and Sandeep Nandy '94 and his wife. The game marked a milestone as it was the first baseball game attended by Sudeshna Nandy. Sudeshna and Sandeep were married on July 14, 2004."
